EACT Jockey Club Active Community Programme

After the success of the "EACT Jockey Club Active School" Programme, HKEAA started a pilot "Active Community" Programme in 2018.

Targeted for the elderly, women and families in the communities, it is dedicated to organising multifarious sports activities and lectures for the elderly, women and families in the communities to encourage them to take an active part in community sports activities, promote community integration and facilitate a harmonious atmosphere.

Funded by Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust since 2019, "EACT Jockey Club Active Community" Programme was then extended to Shatin, Central & Western, Sham Shui Po and Southern districts, offering various sports activities for residents of all ages, such as Active Yoga, Silver-haired Active Dance, Dodgebee, Floor Curling, Parent-child Kinball, etc., with up to total number of 3,800 participants.
